Estimates

WE ENCOURAGE AND PREFER TEXTING AND/OR E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS!!!

We’ve seen thousands of broken doors and windows. A few simple questions properly asked and answered, a digital photo or two, can save hours of driving time, expedite your repair, and save you money.

Estimates given by phone and e-mail are usually very accurate, if properly described and photographed.  We do not give “low-ball” quotes.  Phone and email estimates are not binding if damage is significantly different than described.

Telephone and e-mail consultations are always FREE.  We do charge for on-site estimates.

 PHOTO TIPS

If you are sending photos, please reduce the size of them.   If the photo files are large, please send each picture as an individual  email.   We prefer that you text message the photographs to 678-777-8026, but be sure to add a text with your name and contact information so that we can reply.

Three photos are essential to give you a good estimate.

  • An overall view of the door/sidelight/window in question.  Use post-it notes or tape to “tag” the glass that needs replacement.

  • A close-up of each of the textures of glass needing replacement.

  • A close-up of the interior trim of the door/window so we can see how the glass is installed.  Please take a photo of a corner where the glass and wood meet.

ESTIMATE FEES ARE CHARGED WHEN

  • A third party is involved, and the price must be firmly established prior to beginning the repair, in order to obtain the funds.  (Real Estate Agent, contractor, painter, insurance agent, etc.)

  • Customer is unsure about doing a repair vs. replacement.

  • Colored glass samples must be obtained.

  • Measurements or patterns must be made for tempered or insulated glass.

  • A scheduled repair is cancelled without 48 hours notice.
